Rafa Benitez is already planning ahead for next season at Newcastle United.
The club is close to securing its Premier League status after three successive home wins.
Benitez's 12th-placed side take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium tomorrow knowing a win could be enough to keep them in the top flight.
United's manager will discuss his own future with owner Mike Ashley at the end of the season.
However, Benitez is already having conversations with a number of players about their futures.
"Today I was talking with some players about next season," said Benitez. "Everybody needs to know more or less what is going on.
"Players need to know their futures, and it's important to start working little by little."
A number of players, including Massadio Haidara and Jesus Gamez, are out of contract at the end of the campaign.
