The Magpies have hit 36 goals in the Premier League in 2020/21, the eighth-lowest tally in the division, and have been accused of being overly negative at times.
With a possession average of just 39.43% this season, it’s easy to see why that may be the case.
To have any kind of success playing that way, however, it is imperative that a side have players who are capable of making good on the handful of opportunities that do come their way.
For the Magpies, however, it would appear that they have more than one talent capable of doing just that.
