Newcastle United are in action at the AESSEAL New York Stadium this afternoon.

Rafa Benitez's third-placed side, the Championship's highest scorers, could go top of the league if they win, Huddersfield Town lose and Norwich City fail to take all three points.

Newcastle go into the game on the back of Wednesday night's dramatic 4-3 win over Norwich.

Rotherham, meanwhile, are bottom of the division, having taken just six points from their opening nine games.

United manager Rafa Benitez, however, is wary of Alan Stubbs' side.

"It's quite difficult," said Benitez. "They have a good team offensively. The two strikers are good players. If we press high, maybe they can play counter-attack.

"If we wait and play counter-attack, people will say 'if you are stronger, why do you wait?'.

"It's not easy to decide what to do. It depends on your players. You have to make sure your decisions are right. We have to go there with our confidence."
