Bruce is under intense pressure from an angry fanbase after a shocking performance in the 3-0 loss on the south coast on Saturday night.

Fourth bottom Newcastle are now four points adrift of Brighton, with the last relegation spot looking increasingly like it will be between Fulham and Newcastle.
