Steve Bruce's HILARIOUS reaction to Miguel Almiron's first Newcastle United goal as he channels his inner Jose Mourinho

Steve Bruce admits he showed shades of Jose Mourinho in celebrating Miguel Almiron’s first Newcastle United goal.

The Paraguayan netted an 84th minute winner to send St James’s Park into raptures and Bruce, in all the excitement, began to tear down the sideline towards his goalscorer – but for his body failing him.

“I nearly did a Jose Mourinho, my hip has come out," said Bruce likening his celebrations to those of Mourinho at Old Trafford while Porto manager.

"Even I got carried away. I'm delighted. He is a good player, a great lad and very popular – you want people like that to succeed. Thankfully he has got it off his back."

On the fans sticking with Almiron, whose long wait for a goal is over, said: “I think the fans realise he's a good player. They're well educated in what they see, they know a good player when they see one. Thankfully today he's done it."
