Steve Bruce’s side have netted inside the final 10 minutes to earn draws against Tottenham Hotspur both home away.
The same goes for Wolverhampton Wanderers away and Aston Villa at home, as well as clinching crucial victories versus Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion.
Where would the Magpies be without those late goals?
Well, with a little help from StatBunker, we’ve worked out how the Premier League table would look IF games lasted just 80 minutes:
5. Liverpool - 51 points (up two positions)
Liverpool’s wins remain the same but Jurgen Klopp's side would have two additional draws - and points - to their name in their battle to reach the top four. P30 W14 D9 L7 GF42 GA27 GD+15.

6. West Ham United - 50 points (down two positions)
The Hammers, currently in fourth place, would have one of their wins replaced with a draw if games lasted just 80 minutes. P30 W14 D8 L8 GF37 GA30 GD+7.
7. Leicester City - 49 points (down four positions)
A hefty drop for the third-placed Foxes, who have seemingly developed a knack of finishing games strongly this season. P30 W14 D7 L9 GF42 GA28 GD+14.

8. Everton - 48 points (no change in position)
Carlo Ancelotti’s men would be one point better off if matches finished on the 80th-minute mark, though that doesn’t impact their league position. P29 W15 D3 L11 GF36 GA32 GD+5.
