Paul Dummett, Matty Longstaff and Ciaran Clark are pencilled in to play in this afternoon’s Premier League 2 game against Fulham (1pm kick-off).

“We hope to have to have two or three back, and it’ll be good for them to get 90 minutes under their belts,” said head coach Bruce, who’s preparing for Sunday’s game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. “It'll be good to see them, and let's hope they have a bit of luck – and stay injury-free.”

Dummett and Longstaff are yet to feature this season, while Clark played in two EFL Cup ties.

The return of Longstaff – who signed a new two-year deal in August – is timely, with Isaac Hayden facing a lay-off with the hamstring injury he suffered in Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Manchester United at St James’s Park. Longstaff’s elder brother Sean has laid low by tonsillitis.
