Ayoze Perez says Newcastle United are "ready" for Tottenham Hotspur – and determined to take all three points.
Perez scored the club's winner at White Hart Lane last season.
But the 22-year-old, left out of the starting XI last weekend by head coach Steve McClaren, could again be on the bench this afternoon.
Head coach Steve McClaren – who fielded Siem de Jong ahead of Perez in the 2-0 over Liverpool – could name an unchanged team.
Perez, a potential January transfer target for Tottenham, has taken to Twitter ahead of the televised fixture.
He tweeted: "We are ready and we want come back to Newcastle with 3 points in our baggage! #Howaythelads,"
Perez has scored three goals for United so far this season.
