Former Newcastle United forward Yoan Gouffran has joined a Turkish club.
Gouffran today signed a two-year deal at Goztepe SK.
The 31-year-old's contract at St James's Park had expired at the end of last month.
Newcastle are understood to have offered Gouffran a one-year deal.
But the former France Under-21 international, signed from Bordeaux in 2013, opted for a longer contract at the Super Lig club.
Gouffran scored seven goals for United in all competitions last season.
Goztepe confirmed the signing with a bizarre Game of Thrones-inspried photograph of Gouffran on Twitter.
In a statement, United wished Gouffran "the best of luck for the future".
