Moussa Sissoko often talked about his keenness to play Champions League football while he was at Newcastle United.
The midfielder got his wish at Tottenham Hotspur following his £30million summer move.
So how is his Champions League adventure going?
Well, Tottenham, beaten 1-0 by Bayer Leverkusen at Wembley last night, are third in their group after winning just one of their four group games so far.
And Sissoko, tellingly, was trending on Twitter along with TV drama The Missing.
Newcastle fans, clearly, were enjoying the spectacle.
Here is a selection of tweets from last night:
Taylor and Besty (@TaylorandBesty): "Here, just type "Sissoko" into the search bar and hit search. Go on, trust me. Great fun."
Daniel Storey (@danielstorey85): "In 60 years, Newcastle supporters will tell their grandkids about their club making a £28.5m profit on Moussa Sissoko."
ByTheMinute NUFC (@ByTheMinNUFC): "Dear @SpursOfficial, Thank you so very much for the £30 million you spent on Moussa Sissoko. Humbly yours Every #NUFC fan going x."
NUFCThreatLevel (@NUFCThreatLevel): "Dele Ali ran 80 yards back to his own goal line to cover up for a Sissoko error high up the field. Sissoko jogged a bit then stopped. £30m."
Marc Jobling (@MarcJobling) "#NUFC raised £90m for Sissoko, Carroll and Wijnaldum. For all the club's weaknesses, they negotiate like kings."
