Our Newcastle United writer, Miles Starforth, is in Dublin with the team as they prepare to face St Patrick's Athletic this evening.

It will be Benitez's first chance to assess his squad ahead of the new Premier League season and comes at the end of a short training camp in Ireland.

And the Gazette were given a glimpse into Newcastle's final training session before the friendly as the Tynesiders were put through their paces.
