1. Tim Krul
The Dutchman has established himself as Norwich City’s number one, putting the bad knee injury sustained on Tyneside well and truly behind him. Krul is back to his best and saved TWO penalties against Manchester United last weekend.

2. Danny Simpson
Simpson was released by Leicester City in the summer, three years after memorable lifting the Premier League with The Foxes. He remained without a club until late-September before being snapped up by Huddersfield Town, where he has played a vital part in their upturn in form.

3. Fabricio Coloccini
At 37, the former club captain is still plying his trade with hometown team San Lorenzo - the team he left the Magpies for in 2016. The older he gets seems to dictate the amount of the games he plays, however, is still selected when fit.

4. Mike Williamson
Iron Mike returned to the North East last year with Gateshead and is now player-manager at the non-league club. After relegation was forced upon The Heed, Williamson has steadied the ship at the National League North team and guided them into the first round of the FA Cup to Oldham Athletic at home.
