Newcastle United’s 2020/21 Premier League season is over, which begs the question, did Steve Bruce’s side live up to their start of season expectation or underperform?
While a relegation battle was not something Magpies fans had in mind, predictions were made on how the top-flight would finish in May, prior to the beginning of the campaign.
