Former Newcastle United forward Hatem Ben Arfa has been named in the latest France squad.
Ben Arfa – who left St James's Park in January after returning from an ill-fated loan at Hull City – has hit form for new club Nice this season.
But there were still doubts that his three-year international exile would end given that he had fallen out with national team coach Didier Deschamps early in his career at Olympique Marseille.
However, Deschamps has named him in his 23-man squad for this month's friendlies against Germany and England.
Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko has also been included by Deschamps, whose side automatically qualified for Euro 2016 as hosts.
