Hebburn Town jumped four places to 10th place in the Ebac Northern League Second Division last night.

South Shields Reserves ended 3-1 winners at home to Richmond Town in the TWR Bifolds Wearside League.

Matthew Davidson and Jonathan Hope had them two up before Kalumn Holbrook penalty (replied). But James Wilson made sure with the Mariners’ third goal.

Darlington 1883 Reserves – the renamed former Horden CW club – took Boldon CA to the wire before losing by the only goal of the night, scored by Tom West in the 89th minute.

Harton and Westoe remain winless and have taken just two points out of a possible 39 after going down 4-1 at Cleator Moor Celtic.

Despite scoring first through Brodie Simpson, the South Tynesiders ended well beaten.

Callum Birdsall, Leigh Dunn and Ryan Hall, with a brace, netted for the Cumbrians.
