Jarrow Roofing are look to put their FA Vase disappointment behind them when they return to league action tomorrow.

The Roofers crashed out of the Vase last weekend, losing 1-0 at home to Seaham Red Star after a goal by their former striker Liam McBryde.

Things don’t get any easier tomorrow, with Roofing making the trip to in-form Morpeth Town, who have shot up to second in the Northern League Division One table.

And manager Richie McLoughlin expects a tough game – though he doesn’t want his players feeling sorry for themselves.

He said: ‘I thought we were unfortunate on Saturday, but I don’t feel too bad about the Vase defeat – that’s football, when you’re out, you’re out.

“I expect tomorrow to be a tight game, they’re second in the table and they have a big pitch – it’ll be tough.”

McLoughlin is boosted by the news that Jamie Marshall, Anth Myers and Corey Barnes are all back in contention.
