JARROW shared the spoils with Kirkbymoorside after a 2-2 draw.

The South Tynesiders started the game well, and played some decent football in the opening period of the first half.

The impressive Davey Mullen hit the bar with a header after a great cross by Liam Clarke.

But it was Kirkbymoorside who drew first blood, scoring with their first shot on target.

Jarrow got back on level terms after the break.

Ryan Burton’s shot was saved by the Kirkbymoorside keeper and Grant Pressling followed it up with a close-range finish.

Ten minutes later Peter Kirkham scored a great goal from 25 yards out to put the South Tynesiders 2-1 up.

Kirkham cut inside and fired in a wonderful shot that keeper had no chance of stopping.

That looked like it would be enough to give the South Tynesiders all three points.

But with the game approaching full-time the home side drew level from a corner to ensure the game ended 2-2.

It was disappointing to concede a leveller late on, but Jarrow will be look to take the positives out of the clash against a tricky side.

Harton and Westoe also ended with honours even in their clash Wolviston.

Daryl Tomlinson and Andrew Burdon were on target for the South Tynesiders.

Meanwhile, Boldon CA went down 3-1 away to Hartlepool, with Craig Lumley netting for the visitors.
