HEBBURN Town boss Scott Oliver has told his players they face a must-win game against Stokesley tomorrow if they want to stay on the fringes of the promotion hunt.

The Hornets have been in great form of late, and go into the game in fifth spot in the Northern League Division Two table.

However, they still trail the top three by 10 points, and know they have to keep the pressure on and capitalise on any slip ups.

Oliver said: “We need to beat Stokesley as all the teams above us have games that I expect them to win.

“I have 18 players to choose from – the squad is strong at the moment and I have decisions to make after last Saturday’s comeback at Ryton.

“The lads’ attitudes are fantastic. We trained this week in terrible conditions and they are a great bunch.”

Oliver welcomes back Gary Rogers and Josh Allan to his squad, but Jak Quantrill misses out through illness.
