Jack Ross says he is delighted to add 'security and stability' to his goalkeeping ranks after signing Jon McLaughlin.

McLaughlin caught the eye at Hearts of Midlothian last season, earning his first Scotland cap in the process.

He also boasts a strong Football League record, winning promotions with Burton Albion and Bradford City.

The 30-year-old was also named in the 2016/17 PFA League One team of the season.

Ross said: “Jon was in Scotland last season, but he’s spent the rest of his career in England and played in successful teams in this division.

“He’s a really good signing for us because he will bring security and stability to that position, as well as experience to the team, and play a key role moving forward.

"He’s a safe pair of hands.”

McLaughlin, 30, has signed a two-year deal.
