SUNDERLAND midfielder Jack Rodwell will return for Sunday’s FA Cup fifth round clash at Bradford City.

But Gus Poyet has had to rule out both the ill Emanuele Giaccherini and full-back Anthony Reveillere, who is sidelined with a hamstring problem.

Summer signing Rodwell hasn’t featured since being sent off in the FA Cup fourth round tie at home to Fulham, with a groin problem sustained prior to the replay against the Cottagers ruling him out for the last three games.

But the £10million midfielder is now fit and could start at Valley Parade against the League One Bantams.

Billy Jones is also available after shrugging off a hamstring injury and is likely to come in at right-back for Reveillere, who limped off in the midweek defeat to QPR.

Poyet said today: “Reveillere is out.

“Billy Jones and Jack Rodwell are available.

“That’s it because Lee Cattermole, Will Buckley and Emanuele Giaccherini are still out. Giaccherini is ill now.

“We’ve been practising something.

“Picking the team and adapting to the game is the key.”
