Swansea target Fletcher, Spurs swoop for Newcastle-linked striker and clubs eye Liverpool ace

Sunderland could do with some attacking reinforcements, but it is a striker who could be leaving according to reports today.

Transfer speculation in the Sunday Mirror claims that Swansea are favourites to sign out-of-favour Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher and will make a £4m bid for the 28-year-old Scotland international.

Elsewhere, there were plenty transfer stories involving some of the big clubs in the Premier League – and also England strikers Saido Berahino, who Newcastle have targeted, and Liverpool ace Rickie Lambert.

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has agreed to become the coach of Manchester City from next season, according to Qatari-based sports channel beIN Sports.

Manchester United have agreed to sell Angel Di Maria to French champions Paris St-Germain. The 27-year-old Argentina midfielder will move for a fee of around £46.5m. (L’Equipe)
