Julio Arca says the South Shields players are hungry for more trophies after clinching the league title this week.
The Mariners claimed their first Northern League Divisoon One championship in their history on Tuesday night with a 4-1 win over Ashington.
But it could just be the start of an unprecedented quadruple for Shields, with finals to be played in the Durham Challenge Cup, League Cup and FA Vase.
The side finishes off the league campaign on Saturday at Guisborough before having 10 days off until their Durham Challenge Cup clash with Billingham Synthonia – two games captain Arca will miss through suspension.
However, the former Sunderland midfielder believes the confidence in the camp is such that he sees no reason why they can’t sweep the board.
“Three or four weeks ago we thought this (the league) was going to be the hardest one because we were so many points behind,” he told the club website. “But we managed to achieve it and win the league.
“The confidence is really high now. We’ve got a final coming in 10 days or so, that’s a big one, but then we go game by game as we have been doing.
“We’ve got a game on Saturday and hopefully we finish with a win, then it’s about preparing ourselves well, getting the right rest and hopefully achieve a few more trophies. We want to get another three.
“We’ve been eaiting a long time for this (the title) and it’s been really hard, especially trying to catch teams ahead of us. The last three or four weeks have been the hardest but we pulled together as a team and got our reward.”
