MMA Welterweight submission artist Adam Proctor has signed a multi-fight deal with Europe’s leading MMA promoters, Cage Warriors.

Adam, or ‘The Love Doctor’ as otherwise known, went to Harton Technology College and Sixth Form, is ranked in the top 10 Welterweights in the country, and Proctor’s future aim is to go on to win the Cage Warriors World Title and then move on to the UFC.

Proctor, 22-years-old, has won his last four fights, taking his record to nine wins and one defeat and is currently trained by former Cage Warriors champion Alex Enlund at SBG South Shields.

Coach Enlund said: “Proctor has looked more and more dangerous with each appearance and now returns to Cage Warriors to challenge himself against the toughest opposition in Europe.

“Proctor’s one professional loss came at CW79 against Aaron Khalid, a defeat which only seems to have spurred him on further toward his goal of reaching the top of the Welterweight rankings.

“We chose Cage Warriors over other promotions as there is the opportunity to face the best Welterweight fighters in Europe.”

“The exposure that comes with Cage Warriors fights being shown on BT Sports and UFC Fight Pass will help us increase Adam’s profile on an international level.

“I’m looking forward to seeing him take on the challenges presented by the Cage Warriors Welterweight division.

“It’s only a matter of time before he becomes a Cage Warriors World Champion.”

Cage Warriors is televised on BT Sports and streamed internationally via UFC Fight Pass.
