Lookers-sponsored South Shields Westoe travel to Middlesbrough tomorrow knowing that two more DN2 wins will give them a spot in the play-off for promotion.

Westoe were big 38-0 victors in their meeting earlier in the season and will be gunning for a similar result at Acklam Park.

Westoe will need to continue their strong defensive patterns and close down a strong Middlesbrough midfield.

Westoe must also ensure they score at least four tries to gain the maximum five points that are on offer.

Middlesbrough have won their last five matches and currently sit in sixth position of the Durham & Northumberland 2 league table.

Westoe are boosted by the welcome return of Sean Ramsay in the back-row, with Andy Kirton moving into the engine room.

John Younghusband also returns to the row after missing last week’s 24-0 victory over Stockton to complete the Fan-Dance.

Chris Judson starts at scrum-half tomorrow, with the rest of the back-line remaining unchanged.

The match is scheduled for a 3pm kick off at Acklam Park (TS5 7SL).
