Whiteleas and Harton CC play host to Seaham Park tomorrow in their 1pm clash.
Following a successful first half of the season, the second has proven to be extremely difficult for both clubs.
Park were the Readers Durham Cricket League Division One league leaders for quite some time, but have dropped down the pecking order of late.
Whiteleas on the other hand have also been unable to stay with the chasing pack since the halfway stage.
With skipper Owen Peterson unavailable for tomorrow’s KP Simpson clash, Leas will be captained Ray McRae, who is boosted by the return of several players.
Batsmen Rameez Nawaz, Nathan Ullah and Arslan Riaz are called upon, along with bowler David Arrowsmith.
Seaham Park are at full strength and fixture secretary David Moorhead said: “We’ll be going into our last games against Whiteleas and Dawdon at full strength.
“We are expecting a tough game, but want to finish as high as we can, so are looking for a win.”
The second XI will be looking to add to their excellent win against Littletown as they travel to Seaham Park.
Sid Corner Senior welcomes back Iain Jones and Andrew Davies to the side.
There were celebrations for Whiteleas and Harton Academy last Sunday when they were crowned champions of the Hetton Lyons Sunday League Second Division.
Having beaten Philadelphia convincingly, the result saw them finish top with a game to spare and will be promoted into Division One next season.
