Hebburn TV star Steffen Peddie is hoping to help people solve their problems as he brings his latest stand-up show to South Shields.

The comic will be on stage at the Westovian Theatre, in Pier Parade, on Friday, August 14, with his show 99 Problems And The Chips Ain’t One.

Someone told me that if you’ve got something bothering you, get a bag of chips and share them with your mate while you talk about it, and by the time the chips are gone you’ll feel a lot better. I thought that was a really nice idea.

He said: “The name of the show isn’t just a joke about me being fat, it’s also about this great piece of advice I was given once.

“The great thing about this show is that it’s different every time, and I’m really excited about bringing it to South Shields.”

Steffen, who also has upcoming shows with The Geordie Rat Pack, added: “I did the show at Jesterval comedy festival in Gateshead last month and it was a lot of fun.

“All the best questions came from people from South Shields, Hebburn and Jarrow, so I can’t wait to see what comes out at this show.”

Tickets for the show cost £8 and can be bought at the Westovian Theatre in person or by calling 0191 456 0980, or from the Visitor Information Centre inside Haven Point in person or by calling 0191 424 7788.
