A host of musicians will be taking to the stage next week.
Live at the Customs House is a monthly showcase for up-and-coming acts from around the region.
The gig kicks off at the Mill Dam venue, South Shields, at 7pm on Monday.
It will feature a performance from South Tyneside rock band Eliza Smiles, fronted by singer Lauren Amour, who were runners-up in last year’s Young Performer of the Year contest, which is part of the Gazette’s annual Best of South Tyneside awards.
Also hitting the stage is South Tyneside rock band Far Pacific and acoustic pop singer and songwriter Jpage, from South Shields.
The event is part of the venue’s Take Over week, which is giving youth groups in South Tyneside the chance to run and take part in special events at the Customs House during the half term.
Tickets for the concert cost £5.
To book, go to www.customshouse.co.uk or call the venue’s box office on 0191 454 1234.
