Pop sensations Little Mix have added an extra North-East date to their forthcoming tour of the UK's arenas.
The girl group, featuring South Shields singers Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, are already due to perform at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on Thursday, March 17, next year.
Now, due to phenomenal demand for what promises to be the biggest pop party of the year, a second date has been added on Saturday, April 9.
The news comes hot on the heels of their smash hit single Black Magic, which was the first taste of their forthcoming third album, Get Weird. The song went straight to No 1 in the UK.
Last month they released the second single, Love Me Like You, and the album is set for global release on November 6.
Jade, Perrie, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock became Little Mix in 2011 after appearing on TV talent show The X factor.
They have since sold more than 7 million records, had two UK No.1 singles and two platinum-selling albums, DNA and Salute.
As well as a successful arena tour they have been the recipients of both a Cosmo Ultimate Woman Award and a Glamour Women Of The Year Award.
With over half a billion YouTube and Vevo views worldwide, they’ve also successfully become one of Britain’s greatest exports with massive tours in the US, Australia and Japan – breaking the Spice Girls’ long-held record of highest debut US chart position for a UK girl group in the process.
Tickets for the new date are £25 and £35, and go on sale at 9am on Friday online HERE, from the booking hotline 0844 493 6666 or from 9.30am in person from the Arena box office.
