Acclaimed singer-songwriter Scott Matthews is set to perform live in the region at Stockton Georgian Theatre on Friday, April 4.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of his ground-breaking debut album Passing Stranger, which led to a number of international sell-out tours with respected artists such as Bert Jansch, Robert Plant, Foo Fighters and Rufus Wainwright.

Matthews’ new album Home Part 2 finds him in many senses returning to the source, driven by what he describes as “a need to rekindle a relationship with the artist I was 10 years ago, but joining forces with the artist I am today”.

Home Part 2 is, in Scott’s own words, his “brightest spectrum of light to date”.

“This last decade has flourished into something far beyond what I imagined, and now as one 10-year chapter closes, I seem to have discovered the key to an even greater musical freedom, which I can’t wait to explore.”

Support comes from local chanteuse Elaine Palmer.

Tickets are £12 in advance HERE or £14 on the door.
