WATCH: A pregnant Sophie Ellis-Bextor makes a happy return to South Shields

Singing superstar Sophie Ellis-Bextor said she was happy to be invited back to South Shields today.

The pregnant star performed at the South Tyneside Festival in Bents Park, South Shields.

She first played the festival in 2011 and said it was lovely to be asked to return.

She performed a selection of songs from her latest album Wanderlust, including Young Blood, 13 Little Dolls and Love Is A Camera, as well as favourites like Take Me Home, Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love) and Murder On The Dance Floor.
