The Little Mix girls are back with a new music video.
The X Factor-winning group – which stars South Shields lasses Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards alongside Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson – have released Hair as the fourth single from their album Get Weird.
The single has been given a remix from the album version and features Jamaican reggae star Sean Paul.
The video was released on Wednesday and racked up more than 1.7 million views in its first 24 hours on YouTube.
It sees Leigh-Anne call the girls round to help her get over a boy and them take part in a traditional sleepover.
They get into their pyjamas, have drinks, order pizza, dress up and dance around singing into their hairbrushes.
Jade’s mum Norma said: “It’s just so much fun and the news version of the song is great.
“It’s the fourth single from their album so they wanted to make it a bit different and I love it.
“The video has had more views in the first 24 hours than the Black Magic video did, which is amazing for a fourth single.
“The song is a great message to girls about getting together with your friends when you’ve got boy troubles, and I think everyone will want to have a sleepover with them after seeing it because it looks like they were having so much fun.”
Perrie’s mum, Debbie Hogg, added: “I absolutely love the video, it’s so much fun, and it’s exactly what all girls do on a sleepover and what the girls are like when they’re together – it’s just them. Getting Sean Paul on the single is brilliant and I think it sounds great.”
