A MUSICAL tribute is set to Shine On South Shields.
The members of Pink Floyd tribute band Shine On, who all hail from the town, are looking forward to the homecoming gig.
The band is set to play at the Customs House, in Mill Dam, on Friday, May 1.
The show will feature music from the band’s back catalogue, including a celebration of famous album Dark Side of the Moon, as well as excerpts from The Wall, Division Bell, Wish You Were Here and Momentary Lapse of Reason.
Band member Fletcher Christian said: “Shine On always look forward to Customs House shows – we all hail from South Shields after all.
“This particular show will be the most exciting yet because the balcony is closed so we can use the space for the special effects we have lined up for this show.
