Comic Mickey joins love-themed Laffalang

A North East comedian is joining a the cast of a South Shields comedy sketch troupe for a love-themed show.

Mickey Hutton will act as compere for the Valentine Laffalang when it runs at the Westovian Theatre in Pier Pavilion, South Shields.

The cast will take to the stage in a series of loved up sketches on Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13.

The Laffalang Gang will comprise of long-standing favourites Bob Stott, Craig Richardson, Viktoria Kay, Stephen Sullivan and newcomers Stephen “Stobbsy” Stobbs and Sarah Boulter.

Laffalang producer Gareth Hunter said: “It’s a fantastic line-up.

“As well as our established players, Stobbsy has vast experience as an actor.

“He was in our production of Son of Samurai at the Latitude Festival and is in the Westovian panto, while Sarah was the Goth in Waiting For Gateaux and starred in the Cinder Path and Santa’s Naughty Elf, all at the Customs House last year.”
