Singer-turned-actress Faye Tozer is preparing to show her wicked side in a North-East panto production.
The former Steps singer, who lives in Boldon, is playing the Wicked Queen in the production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Whitley Bay Playhouse.
These new pictures show the 39-year-old in costume for the show, which runs from Thursday, December 10, to Sunday, January 3.
In her pop-star heyday, Steps had 18 Top 10 hits, including Tragedy, Deeper Shade of Blue and 5,6,7,8, and four multi-platinum albums.
In recent years, the mum-of-one has forged a strong career on the stage, winning rave reviews as Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain, as well as roles in Tell Me On A Sunday, playing Eva Cassidy in Over the Rainbow.
Most recently, she stepped into the stilettos of seductive boss Christina Black in 69 Shades of Black - omedy satire of romp fest Fifty Shades of Grey - a comedy satire of romp fest Fifty Shades of Grey.
She is joined in the panto by Tyneside entertainer Steve Walls as Muddles, and Rob McVeigh of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit talent show Any Dream Will Do as the Dashing Prince.
Charlotte Chinn will join the cast as leading lady Snow White, while audience favourite Rebecca Shorrocks, who played both Le Shue and The Candlestick in last year’s panto, is also returning.
With 46 performances at times to suit all ages this year, there are now even more chances to see the popular story.
Tickets, priced from £9, are available from the Box Office from 10-4pm Monday to Friday, 10.30am-2.30pm on Saturdays, and until showtime on the day of the event.
