If you’re struggling to find vegan snacks and meals in South Tyneside, we’ve rounded up some of the places that offer it as part of their wider menu, from the headline-hitting Greggs and chain pubs to independent cafe Hive at Jarrow Hall.
1. Vegan Knickabockaglory, Minchella & Co
Last year ice cream company Minchella & Co launched a full vegan and dairy-free menu to meet increasing demand from customers. Owners say the response to their vegan and dairy-free range which includes traditional favourites such as the knickerbocker glory made from dairy-free Madagascan vanilla ice cream has “exceeded expectations”.
