Half-term adventures at Lightwater Valley during 'Fab Feb Family Fun' week costing just £7.95 each

Fun-packed family days out are on offer during half-term at Lightwater Valley in Ripon.

Until Saturday, February 22, from 10.30am to 3.30pm, the theme park’s “Fab Feb Family Fun” week is aimed at the under-8s with a host of indoor and outdoor events and activities on offer throughout the school holidays.

Visitors can take a spin on the carousel and see the park from above on the Skyrider. Other youngsters’ favourites like the Ladybug rollercoaster, Noah’s Ark and Human Cannonball are open. Thrillseekers, over 1.4m tall, can soar high on the Eagle’s Claw.

Daily entertainment is on offer in the Show Barn with a spectacular line up of magic and illusions. There is a magic show and an amazingly colourful UV puppet show.

The Petting Farm will also welcome visitors with lots of cute and cuddly animals for visitors to pet and feed, including rabbits, lambs, donkeys, calves, alpacas and pygmy goats.

There is a prehistoric party with the chance to meet Jester and Jasmine, Lightwater Valley’s resident dinosaur duo, and take on the Jurassic Adventure golf course.

The indoor soft play and cafe can help under-8s to run off some energy while the grown-ups sit down to a coffee. There are also places to buy lunch.

Due to the popularity of this event tickets must be pre-booked online. Payment on the day is not available. Pre-bookings must be made by midnight on the day before.

The full theme park is not open.
