SOUTH Shields funny woman Sarah Millican is joining a host of famous faces to support Red Nose Day
The comedian, along with the likes of Simon Cowell and David Walliams, will be making her face funny to support the charity on Friday, March 13.
Sarah said: I can’t wait to make my face funny and raise loads of money, like thousands of other people in the UK, this Red Nose Day.”
Comic Relief spends the money raised through Red Nose Day to help poor and vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both here UK, and across Africa.
Since the last Red Nose Day, money raised has funded more than 165 projects in the region.
People can buy one of nine new red noses to support the venture.
The campaign will culminate in a night of TV which will be broadcast live from the London Palladium, for the first time ever, at 7pm on BBC One.
They’re available from Sainsbury’s, Oxfam and rednoseday.com.
Some of the nation’s favourite personalities, including Davina McCall and Lenny Henry will present an evening of entertainment packed full of celebrity performances, comedy gold and silly spoofs.
