THESE mini movie fans just won’t Let It Go when it comes to Disney flick Frozen.

The youngsters dressed as their favourite characters for a special screening of the film at Cineworld, in Boldon Colliery.

Kids also came face-to-face with Elsa, Anna, and snowman Olaf, at the cinema, in Abingdon Way.

The event, dubbed Frozen Reheat, proved a hit with the young crowd.

The cinema’s marketing manager, Gemma Chrisp, said: “It was a sell-out and the kids absolutely loved it. There was singing and dancing and we were joined by Olaf, Anna and Elsa, who kindly offered their services from Kelly Hewitt and Mickey’s Mascots Castles.

“We had plenty of games and activities for the kids including the snowflake dip, pin the carrot on Olaf, name the snowman, a treasure hunt and plenty of opportunity for photos.

“I’ve never seen a queue so long for face painting, the kids were lining up ready for the chance to have snowflakes and Frozen-themed images.

“It was a fantastic event and brilliant to see the excitement from all the kids.”

The musical film, originally released last year, tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off an on epic journey to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in an eternal winter.

The cinema is showing a special sing-along version of Frozen tomorrow. It starts at 10am and tickets cost £1.50 for adults and children. To book, go to www.cineworld.co.uk or call 0871 200 2000.

The film has a PG certificate.
