Hebburn TV star Steffen Peddie is warming up his latest show on Tyneside before taking it on the road.

The comic is set to perform his new stand-up show, 99 Problems And The Chips Aren’t One, at the Jesterval comedy festival in Gateshead next month.

Steffen, who starred as Big Keith in the BBC Two sitcom, will take the stage at 3pm on Sunday, June 7, outside the Baltic art gallery, on Gateshead Quayside.

He said: “The idea of the show is that the audience asks the questions and I solve their problems, while telling them stories and giving out some advice.

“Jason Cook and Chris Ramsey’s shows at Jesterval have both sold out and their tickets cost £10.

“Mine are only £5 and I weigh the same as them put together, so technically with my show you’re getting a two-for-one deal – it doesn’t get much fairer than that.

“I’m taking the show on a UK tour and every show is going to be entirely different – which will keep it interesting.”
