Hebburn design and installation company serves up new appointments

Hebburn design and installation company Restaurant Design Associates (RDA) has made two key appointments as it continues to build its national client base.

The family-run firm, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary, has appointed Louise Ward as an additional Business Development Manager and Caroline Anderson as PR and Marketing Manager.

Between them they bring more than 30 years’ sales and marketing experience to RDA’s growing team.

Louise, who previously worked for more than a decade at display solutions designer and manufacturer The Alan Nuttall Partnership, has a portfolio in food services development, particularly in the education and hospitality sectors. Previous projects include a new servery at Cambridge University’s Christ College.

“The design capabilities, quality and workmanship RDA provide are second to none,” she said.

“That is what initially attracted me to the role. I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge of the education and hospitality sectors to the role and helping RDA to continue to grow.”

Caroline joins from NCG, the UK’s largest national colleges and training group where she worked for 13 years in communications, marketing, brand and strategy development.

She has a wealth of experience in communications and marketing and has previously worked both agency and in-house for a range of national organisations from hospitality and retail to education and technology.

At RDA, she will lead on all aspects of PR and marketing from implementing marketing plans in line with business strategy to managing social media, website and media relations to event management.

“I was immediately attracted to the beautiful spaces RDA creates UK wide,” she said.

“It is an expanding company that is going from strength to strength with great future prospects and ambitious plans for growth.

“I’m looking forward to contributing towards that growth and helping to promote the business to the health care, education and high street sectors as well as helping RDA to expand into new markets.”

Over the last decade, RDA has grown to a turnover of £7.5million and 20 staff members.
