The Premier League have announced the 2021/22 season will begin on August 14.

After the start of this season was delayed until September due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the top-flight is set to revert back to its August start date.

The campaign will run until May 22, while the FA Cup final traditionally takes place after the league season has ended.
