Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall to appear on tonight's Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer
South Shields singer Jade Thirlwall will be putting her baking skills to the test in a famous TV tent tonight.
Jade is part of the line-up on the fourth week of this year’s Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer – joining comedian Katherine Ryan, YouTuber KSI and presenter Stacey Dooley to take on three challenges set by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
It’s sure to be an action-packed episode on Tuesday, March 30, with the Sanddancer trying her hand at fondant fancies, pastry and a show-stopping biscuit and meringue masterpiece.
A charity mini-series of the popular baking show takes place each year in the spring, raising money for Stand Up To Cancer.
Posting on Instagram when she was announced as part of the line-up in January, Jade said: “You heard it here last coz I’m the worst to post content on time, but I can’t tell you how gagged I am to be on the Great British Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.”
The Little Mix star also shared some pictures of her previous cookery adventures – giving fans a taste of what to expect from her in the tent.
She added on Twitter: “I promise not to show everyone up too much.”
Tonight’s appearane is not Jade’s first link with GBBO.
Contestant Liam Charles, from 2017’s series and now host of Bake Off: The Professionals and Junior Bake Off, created a spectacular cake for the singer’s drag-themed 25th birthday party.
The Great Celebrity Bake Off is on Channel 4 at 8pm.
