2022 holiday flights to go on sale as TUI announce 31 destinations from Newcastle Airport

Tour operator, TUI, has revealed its destinations for winter 2021 and summer 2022 holidays from Newcastle airport.

Bookings for 12 winter destinations are already on sale with 2022 summer holidays set to go on sale on November 5.

Destinations from Newcastle Airport include long haul flights to Cancun and Florida and holidays to Turkey, Egypt and Greek Islands are already proving popular.

With on-going travel corridor uncertainty for some regular favourites this winter, Tui say customers craving sunshine during the coldest months have already booked for next winter, with strong demand in particular for Tenerife and Lanzarote.

Where are the holiday destinations?

Tui is flying to 31 different destinations across winter 2021/22 and Summer 2022

The Winter 2021/22 destinations are: Lanzarote, Malaga, Alicante, Antalya, Barbados, Hurghada in Egypt, Kittila in Lapland, Gran Canaria, Montego Bay in Jamaica, Paphos, Palma and Tenerife.

The Summer 2022 destinations are: Lanzarote, Malaga, Alicante, Antalya, Bodrum, in Turkey, Corfu, Cancun, Dalaman, Kefalonia, Heraklion, Hurghada in Egypt, Ibiza, Skiathos, Kos, Larnaca, Gran Canaria, Menorca, Orlando Melbourne (Florida), Naples, Enfidha in Tunisia, Paphos, Palma, Reus in Spain, Rhodes, Tenerife and Zakynthos.

TUI has said that people are booking ahead and treating themselves to 4 and 5 star hotels and villas after many people were unable to go away in 2020.

Richard Sofer, Commercial & Business Development Director at TUI said: “Our latest customer survey and booking patterns for next summer indicate that the great British public are looking forward to future holidays even more so as they may have been unable to take one this year.

"This is why we have launched our future holiday programmes through to the end of October 2022, so that families and couples alike can plan ahead to next year and beyond to make informed choices about what will make their perfect holiday from the wide range we have on offer.”
