The global lifestyle brand chose Souter Lightouse as the location for its latest advertising campaign to promote the Coastal and Barbour x National Trust collections.
The Coastal campaign was shot in October 2019 while the Barbour x National Trust campaign was captured in July 2020, with images now online and in Barbour store windows around the world.
Today, Barbour is sold in more than 40 countries worldwide, but their headquarters remains in South Shields along with the factory, where the brand’s traditional waxed cotton jackets continue to be made.
Sue Newton, Global PR Manager, Barbour said "For Autumn/Winter 20, we shot two of our marketing campaigns in the North East - Coastal and our collaboration with the National Trust.
"Both campaigns were shot close to Souter Lighthouse in Marsden, South Tyneside.
"The Coastal collection is inspired by our maritime heritage and Souter Lighthouse provided the perfect backdrop.
"Souter Lighthouse is also a National Trust property and the Barbour x National Trust collaboration supports their 'Everybody Needs Nature' campaign so the backdrop was very fitting.
"The National Trust collection is inspired by the North East coastline and the designs within the range feature the key colours of this beautiful and dramatic landscape."
