South Shields Indian buffet closed due to impact of coronavirus outbreak
Aneesa’s Buffet has closed and its owners have thanked their customers for their support over the last 10 years.
Announcing the sad news, owners of the New George Street restaurant say their Newcastle eatery will remain open and they are looking forward to taking on ‘new and exiting’ projects.

Hide AdThe coronavirus outbreak has had a huge impact on businesses with restaurants closing for almost three months due to lockdown restrictions.
The Government is running the Eat Out to Help Out scheme which offers 50% off the price of meal up to £10 every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in August.
Posting on Facebook, Aneesa’s Buffet said: “Like many others, the unprecedented events of 2020 have had a major impact on our business and have forced us to reevaluate our future prospects.
“It is therefore with sadness we announce that Aneesas Buffet South Shields is now closed, to allow us to concentrate on other new and exciting projects.
