Lewis Capaldi announced as headliner of North East festival - how to get tickets and presale info
Lewis Capaldi has announced a huge North East date for summer 2026.
The Scottish star returns to the region this July as part of In The Park, which takes place at Newcastle’s Exhibition Park.
The show will mark Capaldi’s biggest-ever outdoor performance in the city.
The much-loved concert series will once again bring world-class live music to the heart of Newcastle, with Capaldi’s performance set to be one of the standout moments of the summer.
Announced on Monday, November 17, the announcement lands fresh off the back of his sold-out 17-date arena tour across the UK and Ireland, his first in two years.
Capaldi will take to the stage on Wednesday, July 8 after being announced as the second headliner for the Newcastle event. The first name announced was Paul Weller earlier this month.
Last year’s shows included a headline set from Fontaines DC, who performed to a sellout crowd in July 2025.
Tickets for Capaldi’s date go on sale from 9am on Friday, November 21.
Pre sale, which can be signed up for through the event’s website, allows fans to get early access to sales 24 hours before.
