South Tyneside school holidays: The term dates you need to know for 2020/2021
Looking to get the school holiday dates in the diary for the 2020/2021 term?
We are now just weeks away from the first half-term break of the new school term, so we have taken a look at the academic year ahead so you can get to grips with when the holidays are scheduled to take place.
According to South Tyneside Council, the term dates for the 2020/2021 school year are planned as follows.
Dates for individual schools may vary due to training days. Please check with your child’s school for confirmation.

October half term: Break up on Friday, October 23 and return to school on Monday, November 2.
Christmas break: Break up on Friday, December 18 and return to school on Monday, January 4.
February half term: Break up on Friday, February 12 and return to school on Monday, February 22.
Easter holidays: Break up on Thursday, April 1 and return to school on Monday, April 19.
Spring half term: Break up on Friday, May 28 and return to school on Monday, June 7.
Summer holidays: Break up on Friday, July 23.
