The 12 areas in South Tyneside with the most confirmed Covid-19 cases as borough enters tier two

The latest figures come as the borough is set to be place into tier two – high alert level – after the Government unveiled a new three-tier system. These are the 12 areas in and around South Tyneside with the most new cases of coronavirus recorded between Friday, October 2 and Thursday, October 8, according to official data.
