13 pictures of deserted Hebburn streets during second week of coronavirus lockdown

Residents have been sticking to the rules and staying at home as the second week of lockdown measures continues in Hebburn.

We’re into the second week since Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced strict new guidelines to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Along with the rest of the UK residents in South Tyneside are now only allowed to leave their homes for a few specific reasons, including to buy groceries, go to the pharmacy or to undertake one form daily exercise.

On Thursday, April 2 the streets of Hebburn were deserted, with only essential shops still allowed to remain, and libraries, gyms and community centres closed.
