On Monday, March 23 Prime Minister Boris Johnson brought in strict new measures to curb the spread of Covid-19, allowing people to leave the house only for a few specific reasons.
All “non-essential” retail premises have been told to close.
Streets have been left deserted as the number of confirmed cases in borough reached nine on Thursday, March 26.
Our photographers have been out and about over the last few days – keeping their social distance - as shoppers stock up on supplies, joggers and dog walkers take their daily exercise and key workers head out for their shifts.
